TAQAT Initiative

About the Initiative

The TAQAT Initiative is a national initiative led by the Women and Energy Association to connect qualified Saudi women with employment opportunities in the energy sector. It achieves this by building strategic partnerships with industry employers, preparing female graduates, matching them with suitable career opportunities, and supporting them throughout their employment journey in alignment with labor market needs and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The initiative operates through an integrated model that combines technical training, career mentoring, job matching, and collaboration with employers to ensure a smooth transition from university to the workforce.

SANA serves as the primary development pathway within the TAQAT Initiative. It is designed to prepare the first cohort of female graduates from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) before they progress to the employment matching stage with the initiative’s industry partners.
