Women and Energy Association
Women and Energy (WE) is a Saudi national non-profit association based in Riyadh, established in late 2023 with the aim of strengthening women’s participation in the energy sector and empowering them to lead the transition towards a more sustainable and innovative future. The Association seeks to build a supportive ecosystem that achieves balance between women’s talent in education and the labor market, and contributes to preparing effective women leaders in fields related to energy.
The Association enables everyone to participate effectively in developing the sector and advancing the ecosystem, and positioning the Kingdom in its aspired leadership role; through specialized leadership programs, quality knowledge initiatives, a professional network bringing together expertise and talent, and strategic partnerships with leading national and international entities.
Achieving a balanced ratio of female graduates to female employees, and supporting their growth and professional career path towards leadership roles in the energy sector.
For the Association to be one of the leading non-profit entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that supports and empowers women within the energy sector, and strengthens their standing locally and internationally.
